History

Since 1978, PBS El Paso has delivered non-commercial educational programming through KCOS-TV, Channel 13. Viewers enjoy a diverse selection of high-quality content, including a dedicated 24-hour PBS KIDS channel (13.3), comprehensive news coverage, impactful documentaries, and inspiring performing arts. Committed to community engagement, PBS El Paso also prioritizes educational events for both children and adults, expanding learning opportunities beyond the screen. KCOS-TV reaches up to 2 million viewers throughout the borderland region.
